Welcome to Operation WildLife! 

Thank you for taking the first step to apply for a volunteer position with our organization.  Volunteers are the backbone of OWL and without dedicated, giving people like you we would not be able to save the lives of thousands of animals each year.

The next step for you to join the OWL family is to sign up for a volunteer orientation session.  See below for a list of our volunteer orientation dates.  Please call or email me to sign up for a session:  owlvolunteer@yahoo.com or 913-908-4252.  We try very hard to stick to the orientation schedule, but if none of these times/dates will work for you please let me know so we can make alternate arrangements.  Orientations run approximately 90 minutes in length.

If we haven’t heard from you in 30 days after receipt of this letter your application will be placed in a non-active file.  Should you decide at a later date that you want to volunteer you will need to reapply.   Please don’t wait, sign up for an orientation today!

All orientations are given at our main facility located in Linwood, KS.  When you set up your orientation date you will be given driving directions to our facility.  The facility is staffed by volunteers and we work on tight schedules to get all the animal care completed.  Because of this we must stick to scheduled orientation times only.  Also, please do not bring additional guests, children, or pets to the orientation due to safety concerns.
