Ms. Moose

Bald Eagle

Ms. Moose came to OWL in 1994, after being found by a wildlife rehabilitator in Yellowstone National Park. Moose has lost the range of motion needed to successfully fly and hunt again.

She is a bald eagle, signified by white feathers on her head. The bald eagle is the only eagle found exclusively in North America.

Goldie

Golden Eagle

goldieGoldie came to OWL in 1994 after having ingested lead shot on an open range in Wyoming. The lead poisoning caused permanent brain and central nervous damage to Goldie.

She is a golden eagle, signified by the “golden” feathers on her mantle (back of neck). Golden Eagles live in North America, Europe and Asia.
